An interview question
Q:Where would you like to be in 5 years time?
A:Truthfully,I have no idea.I have been studying for 15 years,because I was told if I didn’t do well enough I wouldn’t get a job and will not have a good life.And now that I’ve graduated,I’ve been given lessons on how to react during an interview and taught on how to climb the corporate ladder.So,basically in 5 years time I’d be doing what I missed out for the past 15 years, get to know myself a bit more and pursue my passions and for now,i will serve my company for the next 5 years and at the sametime try to do volunteer/social activities hoping that it will teach me to be a bettter person.
But that is my life,for my professional opinion,in 5 years time,I’ll be spending 2 years getting to know the basics of my job in my sector,as posted by my manager,after that,I’d spend 3 years learning and specializing in project management and look forward to a promotion to a senior project manager,keeping in mind that my KPI is maintain as above average.
